Web-Based RT/RW Recommendation Letter Information System in Batang Kumu Village

Abstract

Currently, every job in agencies, both government and private, is involved with data management and archiving. This includes the management of population data at the Rukun Warga (RW) and Rukun Tetangga (RT) levels. The problem that occurs today in the Batang Kumu Village RT/RW is the lack of organization in archiving population data, still stored in the master book which is recorded in handwriting. The process of submitting a cover letter takes a long time because you have to match the data with the files in the archive. In addition, some archives were scattered and lost along with the transfer of management positions from year to year. The utilization of ICT progress needs to be applied to be able to simplify the problems encountered in the management of population data at the RT / RW level which is the beginning of the submission of sharing cover letters and certificates to the Kelurahan and Kecamatan levels. The solution to solving the problem that occurs is to use the waterfall method by creating a web-based application or program for managing population data. The result of this web-based application is that it makes it easier to store data with a database, making reports more effective and efficient.
