Peer Review Process

Each article submitted to the editorial staff will undergo an Initial Review process by the Editorial Board. Subsequently, the article will be sent to Peer Reviewers and will proceed to the next selection through the Blind Review Process. After that, the article will be returned to the authors for revision. This process takes a maximum of one month. In each manuscript, Peer Reviewers will evaluate both substantial and technical aspects. The Peer Reviewers collaborating with the Journal of Basic Education Indonesia are experts in public administration and related issues. They are experienced in managing prestigious journals and publications, both nationally and internationally.

All submitted manuscripts are read by the editorial staff. Manuscripts evaluated by the editors as not meeting the journal's criteria are promptly rejected without external review. Manuscripts considered potentially interesting to our readers are sent for double-blind review. The editors then make decisions based on the reviewers' recommendations from several possible outcomes: rejection, revision required, or acceptance.

Editors have the authority to decide which manuscripts submitted to the journal will be published.

Review Process:

1. Authors submit the manuscript.
2. Editor Evaluation (some manuscripts are rejected or returned before the review process).
3. Double-blind Peer Review process.
4. Editor's Decision.
5. Confirmation to the authors.
