Web-Based Guidance And Counseling Information System: A Case Study of SMA Negeri 2 Rambah

Abstract

Counseling Guidance (BK) at SMA Negeri 2 Rambah still uses a special BK book, which increases the risk of data loss due to lost or damaged books and the lack of a place for BK teachers to publish articles and provide information about counseling science. With this web-based information system, the aim is to facilitate BK teachers and students in the counseling service process. To solve the problems that occur, in this case, the author designs a web-based Counseling Guidance information system at SMA Negeri 2 Rambah. This system is designed using PHP programming tools, databases, and system design tools such as Flowchart, DFD (Data Flow Diagram), and ERD (Entity Relation Diagram). With this web-based information system, counseling problems can be addressed more effectively and efficiently.
